Info about the producers and the studios:
D-Space began as more of what seemed to be a coincidence than anything else. However, in that coincidence lay an understanding, and a concept. Two newly acquainted friends began to conspire. At one point, a logical step occurred. Why not embark on creating the music that brought the two together. And, in an instant the concept was born.
In the early days, around the year 2000, there was a flurry of activity after some synthesizers were attained. Hours and hours of sonic exploration, to try and unravel the puzzle of the D-Space concept. Through sounds, and the geometry they form while being woven through each other, J and Steve set out to make a unique and relevant sound to add to the
Trance Dance Community. After many months in the constant evolving of the studio, knowledge was gained and grooves were made. Through this journey, D-Space has learned a focus on the progressive nature of the music, and the importance of rythms that keep the body moving. While maintaining and encouraging the trance inducing elements. Mind-manifesting webs of sound to imply the Sacred geometry that connects us to the universe. The achievement of this in its pure sense is understandably impossible. But, it is the process that opens the mind, and readies ones-self to deconstruct the limits that prevent a purified perception.
After almost three years, circumstances had to put a hold on the project. During this time music was released as solo projects under the names of Alpha Channel, Indigom, Equisol, and duo M-Field. When J and Steve met up again to celebrate these releases, the focus was rekindled, and a more precise and defined sound created. The result was an impressive stack of material. Material that was tested immediately on the dance floors of NY and Boston, during the release parties for PsyBooty Records second release of ServEm2wice.
Thanks to all who listen, and all who will.
